Themes

The gradings (to gain their next belt) will be based on set themes. These themes will revolve around encouraging the children's self-awareness, self-protection, discipline, self-development and confidence.

The themes will be set in no particular order, but will include the following: Balance, Focus / Concentration, Memory, Stranger Awareness / Emergency skills, Co-ordination, Teamwork / Leadership, Fitness, Discipline.

It will be ensured that every child is competent of the relevant grading syllabus before he/she takes part. The gradings come at no extra cost to the parents/carers.
