Reward Schemes

We believe that rewards are a fantastic way to celebrate achievement and encourage discipline and Tang Soo Do Spirit. Both Little P.U.M.A's and Juniors are rewarded every step of the way. With awards and mini gradings, your child will soon be proud of their own achievement, which means you (the parent/carer) will be too.

As well as student of the week and monrth stickers and rewards, we offer the following schemes;

Stamp Cards

Every few weeks Little PUMAs are set a task to complete at home, on completion the instructor will give a sticker which will be added to the licence book (stamp card pages). Each full page completed will be celebrated with the class and badges will awareded.

Similarly the Juniors will have home tasks which include learning Tang Soo Do theory, practising techniques, and being helpful at home, however these are given in form of an A4 sheet and encourage each child to take control of their own learning. Again they will be celebrated and rewarded for completion.

Star Schemes

There are also opportunities for the children to earn a star (to stitch to their suit) in between gradings. Sometimes they'll be set small tests/challenges to do in order to obtain a star, other stars will be available to the children by achieving everyday goals, e.g. good school reports, or acts of bravery.
